Kitty磁鐵收集活動，更是一舉將台灣的便利商店的熱潮推向了高點，但是當初由日本引進便利商店的人，可能沒有想到在創立便利商店文化的日本卻在便利商店誕生30年後起了異樣。　　這個異樣就是以往經常造訪便利商店的年齡層突然升高了，根據日本7-11表示，在1989年的時候，平均一家便利商店的一日來客數約為905人，而客層以20歲以下者佔65%，而50歲以上者則佔10%，便利商店可以說是年輕人的樂園，年輕人也養成就算不買東西也要去便利商店晃晃的習慣，一天不去便利商店就渾身不對勁者也大有人在。　　但在2004年再做調查時發現，雖然一日來客數增長為985人，但是20歲以下的人減少到41%，而50歲以上的則倍增至</summary><link
